#GrahamPlatner claims ignorance of the symbolism of the totenkopf. When he was in the #USMC, he had it tattooed on his chest. He claims it is now covered up with another tattoo.
My friend in Colorado went to a few tattoo parlors and asked young #tattoo artists if they knew the symbolism of a #totenkopf. Many shrugged and dismissed it as a skull and crossbones and nothing more being naïve to the #Nazi symbolism.
Okay, fair. I am still wary of #Platner as a candidate. 1/x

When he made an appearance on The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart all Stewart mentioned was how Platner was progressive and how he's a #veteran.
I hear 'veteran' and I hear 'someone who blindly follows orders regardless of morality'.
When I learned about the totenkopf tattoo a week or two later, I began to believe Platner is a #Republican in #Democrat clothing who will heel-turn like Fetterman once he enters office. 2/x

As for 'following orders', I'm sure he'll nod, support, and approve whatever his #AIPAC handler feeds him, not to mention fulfill the demands of whichever oligarch paid for his campaign.
I just can not trust Platner. At least Susan Collins's evil is a known quantity.
I did joke that if Platner covered his totenkopf tattoo.with another, I'm sure he'll claim ignorance again and argue it's just a #Buddhist good luck symbol. 3/3
