Today, a slightly obscure one from the 2000s - the Citroën Berlingo based Romahome Duo Outlook two-berth micro-camper. I saw this one locally a few weeks ago.

@davidwilkins Ooh, I never knew there was a camper version of the Berlingo.

Though to be fair, does make sense, considering the C15 camper that preceded it.

@davidwilkins: I test-drove such a Berlingo camper with sleeping berth (maybe from another brand, but very similar body) before I bought my current Ducato based camper (i.e. 15 years ago). And it was horrible. The suspension of the Berlingo wasn't made for such a high and crosswind-delicate body. It was a very swaying test ride, especially on the highway…
@xtaran A - probably - more stable Berlingo conversion in tomorrow’s post!

@davidwilkins

oh dear, those were awful to drive on a sidewind as standards

@mastosalo Tomorrow I shall post another Berlingo conversion which I think would be more stable!
@davidwilkins I want one of these! Have done for ages
@davidwilkins My grandparents had one. They loved it. Mind you, they were camping until their 70s so that might explain why.
@davidwilkins I would have that. Perfect as a little camper for going round Australia!
@davidwilkins is that made by just fully chopping the upper rear section off?
