One of the advantages of being in the week of the shortest days of the year is biking home from work after dark, in cold clear air, with the universe sparkling overhead.

@joncounts One of the disadvantages of being in winter - my wife cycled home through the middle if an intense 30 minute rainstorm in Melbourne & arrived home drenched!
Now at 10pm the sky is beautifully clear like yours.

@DavidPenington Ah, yes, biking in winter rain in the dark is less pleasant. It rains often enough here that I've always got my rain coat handy.
