How, exactly, is the Carney government any different than a Poilievre government would have been?

Carney certainly has more charm and natural appeal than Poilievre, who just comes across as an asshole. When it comes to policy differences, however, I don't see a whit of difference in terms of corporate deregulation and the wholesale gutting of government.

@dyckron he disgusts me. There is nothing more contemptible than a person who pretends to be for his fellow citizens and his country but then makes every decision to demonstrate he is only here for money. Carney is a fraud and a scoundrel.

@dyckron A Poilievre government would have been better. In particular, it would have been more honest with Canadians: no one voting for the #CPC would expect progressive policies, unlike many who voted for Mr. Carney's Liberals.

Furthermore, if you're against right-wing policies, you should want a strong left-wing opposition; at present, with the NDP collapsed, and both the Conservatives and the Liberals on the right, left-wing criticisms have gone quiet.

@JCBlubaugh idk. I voted for a former director of the Bank of internationalsettlemen, for the party who put him as a finance secretary of state. Because of him, my country didn't suffer as much as other in the 2008-2009 bubble burst.
