Facebook is paying people over...
Oh hell no. Our sovereignty, our country, our dialogue. We don't need clickfarms in South Asia stirring up trouble here. Tell Zuck and the trolls to GTFO:
Facebook is paying people overseas promoting Alberta separatism

@heliomass I don't claim any great expertise on #ukpol, but isn't the most likely outcome that Reform and the Conservatives split the right-wing vote, and Labour continue to form government?
(I may be viewing this too much through the prism of 1990s #CanPol.)
@www.youtube.com.channel.ucs1xwrtmeasnhyphgjjtbfw I could quibble with parts of the video, but overall it's a good diagnosis of the problems. I'm not sure the prescription is adequate, but on the other hand, the Liberals have largely adopted it, so it's not obvious what a better alternative would be.
(And here MMT believers have a response... Sure, just print more money, that will definitely solve all our economic problems.)

“Regulators recognize that Canadians are already partaking in this trading (via virtual private networks that hide their location), and that there is a large appetite. So, they wanted to offer a regulated way for them to participate.”
Et surtout à cause de la remontée du NPD 😏 (as if this governement gives a fuck about "public feedback").
@Sir_Osis_of_Liver You don't think it's of interest that when the #CRTC implements the policies of the Online Streaming Act (enacted under PM Trudeau), Minister Miller orders them to stop?
*Update:* https://www.readtheline.ca/p/peter-menzies-canadas-cultural-protection

Federal investments of $600 million will provide stability and immediate support to Canada’s audio and audiovisual sectors and keep Canadian culture accessible and affordable for all
Sean Speer: "This is such a cynicism-inducing announcement from the Trudeau/Carney government. For years, the Liberals dogmatically pursued the Online Streaming Act despite overwhelming evidence that it would drive up prices and undermine choice for consumers and distort market access for Canadian creators. Then as the CRTC goes about implementing the government's (predictably) bad law, the minister intervenes on affordability grounds" | nitter
