@F100 Your statement makes no sense; to stand up to Putin, you don't ally yourself with genocidal mass murderers in power in Washington, do you? And that is exactly what Zelensky did - why don't you use some research tools of your own to brush up on your knowledge?

@villebooks USA and Russia are on the same side. Both want the capitulation of Ukraine (and everybody else also for that matter).

Ukraine is defending itself from an invader, like the Palestinians and Lebanese, you buy weapons from wherever you can in that case. Both Hezbollah and Ukrainians use Colt rifles, doesn’t make them US protectorates, it shows they are practical.

@F100 Russia and the US are not serving the same side; the US goaded Russia into the invasion in order to bind European and NATO states to the conquest for the sake of their arms trade and resources - Imo I would be more worried about Germany; after all, they have more of a foothold in Ukraine than the Russians do, and they need agricultural land - Either way, the status of the territories must be negotiated between the two neighbors, in the end more war weakens the people, and trade

@F100 Thanks for the recommendation, but I prefer reading books from publishers based outside the US or the UK, that's just based on my personal experience as a journalist battling Western interpretations of history - and thank your for your thoughts and comments, much appreciated
