The US Postal Service (USPS) published a proposed rule to allow the federal government to control who can cast a mail-in or absentee ballot. States would have to send a list of every voter slated to receive a ballot by mail to the USPS.

Public comments are now being accepted on this rule. See link for info on how to send an email with your comment.

@ahimsa_pdx the US voting system is so f'ed up really.
Over here, every eligible voter gets a ballot by mail, and you have the choice to mail it back or hand it in in person.
But since there is only one for each eligible voter, there can't be fraud.

It's not that hard.
