Post- EyeOnAlaska

They’ve been in the backyard, or down at our bog pond, all day. I’ve got stuff to do outside, but don’t want to disturb them. It’s pretty obvious we’ve become their safe place to hang out, eat, and sleep. Love it.

@EyeOnAlaska They must feel safe there.
@mlanger That’s what we’re trying for.
@EyeOnAlaska I used to get bighorn sheep in my yard just about every single day. They came down from the cliffs south of my home. But now I've got a neighbor with three large dogs that are always out between me and the cliffs. I haven't had a single sheep in my yard in two years. They come down elsewhere in the neighborhood now. I miss them.
@mlanger Sadly, we don't see nearly as many animals as we used to. There have been so many new homes built up here that the animal travel corridors have changed.
