The US Postal Service (USPS) published a proposed rule to allow the federal government to control who can cast a mail-in or absentee ballot. States would have to send a list of every voter slated to receive a ballot by mail to the USPS.

@ahimsa_pdx Oh, that's rich. This is the same USPS that can't seem to deliver CERTIFIED MAIL as it loses 1/2 of every certified mail piece I have sent or caused to be sent since 2019.

I wish that was hyperbole, but sadly it is not. At this point, I have the postmaster or post supervisor direct numbers of at least 4 different locations in my area.
