Oh my Bob, this is utterly unhinged. Peter #Theil and Aron #DSouza have teamed up to create an “AI Tribunal” for the #EpsteinClass to whitewash any negative reporting, by “suing the reporter” in a made up court judged by an LLM, and when the LLM decides for the rich person, it poisons the well by distributing propaganda.

D’Souza believes that “many journalists are more powerful than billionaires,” explaining, “I can’t tell you how many billionaires and CEOs have called me in absolute tears about their lives being destroyed by one article.”

@MissConstrue Last time I saw someone whining about "lives being destroyed," it was "men's rights" advocates claiming that the gutter was positively littered with desolate men, each ruined by just one accusation of sexual impropriety.

There's something of the same energy here. It's easier to understand if we realize we're not the intended sympathetic audience, other oligarchs are.

@MissConstrue The genius of saying a man's "life was destroyed" is that the phrase can mean anything the listener decides it should mean. Whatever scary, compelling story you construct for yourself about how your "life" is "destroyed," that's the right story. Because the scare is the payload, the scare is the only real meaning that phrase has.

There should be (there may be) a name for this kind of empty language that invites the listener to take a flight of fancy.
