Hey #crochet and #knitting friends! I had to cut some memory foam pads to fit in our camper and now I have two pieces of memory foam that I don't want to throw away.

Does anyone have any #knit / #crochet patterns or ideas for scraps of memory foam? I have two pieces that are approximately 70" long, 4" wide, and 4" deep. I could cut them up or squish them into something. Maybe some kind of pillow or plushie?

@brainofdane Cut em into shorter pieces, use spray glue to bond edge-to-edge to make a square, then knit/crochet/sew a cover and make it a pillow?
@brainofdane If you have pets, you could glue them together into a rectangle and cover for a pet bed. Could also glue end-to-end in a circle and cover as the outer ring of a pet bed.

@brainofdane I would definitely make it into a pillow, one of those you can lean against when reading and such. It's enough material for it, I think?

As for the pattern: I always love granny square pillow covers :)

@brainofdane

If you have smaller bits left over, you could always make a "Non-Cooperation Brick" or two.

Non Cooperation Brick pattern by Hannah Roderick

Do you find yourself increasingly frustrated with the state of the world by have no outlet for your nihilistic tendencies without breaking something in your home? Are you tired after a long day of protesting for the rights of underserved people and need something mildly mindless to work on while you stream either the latest season of Severance for the first time or the third season of Gilmore Girls for the fifth time? Do you not want to cooperate or be complacent with the fact that we are watching history in the making, but not in a fun and freedom-y way? Well do I have the project for you!
