Yo dawg

@kemotep Every day we stray farther from god's light
@kemotep I think Haiku's linux compatibility layer is at least built in to it. Installing Debian inside another OS is something I've only ever heard of before with Windows
@dutch_connection_uk yeah FreeBSD achieves 100% Linux binary compatibility by literally just having the Linux kernel installed alongside the BSD system. I literally ran debootstrap and installed Debian Trixie lol.
@kemotep I remember something called Colinux from the early 00's that was looking into this approach. I guess it's neat that that research effort found application in the BSDs!

@kemotep there's a significant gap in FreeBSD's official documentation for Linuxulator.

@grahamperrin thanks for the heads up. This is going to be almost exclusively to run games and looking into my options it looks like there are some projects that prepackage/wrap scripts to help get gaming up and running. But there is also just wine and in many cases those will be better than running multiple layers of abstractions.

I need to review what straight up has a port, what will work with FreeBSD wine, and then check out things like Suyimazu.
