#FreeBSD 15.1 broke #SDDM #Wayland session launch. Worked fine on 15.0.

RC1 through RELEASE. Tried polkit, PAM, consolekit2 downgrade, patching wayland-session, Ly. Debug wrappers produced zero output — failure happens before the shell can write anything.

Exit code 125, under 50ms. SDDM can't hand off the session. Wayland itself is fine.

exec startplasma-wayland from ~/.zlogin works. SDDM does not. #Plasma

Update: tried both drm-66-kmod and drm-612-kmod. Neither fixes it. Still no idea what changed between 15.0 and 15.1. SDDM just can't hand off the Wayland session. (drm-612 is buggy and panics)

@matuzalem I had a problem with the hyprland-watchdog, that is started by default via the .desktop file used by Ly in my case. Changing the file to point directly to the hyprland executable did the trick for me. Have this workaround for a while, so I can’t tell if this fixes your problem, but it is with a try.
