Been painting outside. I was trying to find something nice and architectural to paint but ended up choosing a very ambitious view. Well, I got to train a (for me) new way of making very thin straight lines with the palette knife at least :)

@exkclamation haha thanks :) well, if the thumbnail looks like that I guess the values were well keyed. I did work a long time on the transition in the walls to make the soft lighting function

@ansper08 thank you :) yeah I believe we are visually trained to ascribe a certain treatment of dark and light to photography.

Superbe! Der "plein air" Stil der sehr positiv ist und auf die Natur / Natürlichkeit zielt in Opposition zur geradliniegen, moderne Architektur. Das produziert ambivalente Emotionen. Ganz Klasse!

@Voyageur_Pragmatique 🙏 ich bin selber grosser fan von Stadtlandschaften und fühle mich im Moment noch fremder als sonst in meiner Umgebung, deshalb wohl das leicht liminale und bedrohliche was gerade wohl ein bisschen durchscheint.

Mooi, goeie kleuren! Grappig, herkenbare plek: 1 bankje verderop heb ik in februari mijn tekening van de portaalkraan gemaakt😃

@PeterPT ja die portaalkraan had ik telf enkele jaren geleden in de mist geschildert. Moet ik zeker nog ern keer gaan doen :) ik vind her wel een heel leuke promenade om langs te wandelen. Dank je voor het compliment :) en ik herinner me ook aan jou tekening toen, was heel leuk!
