Again, an arctic watercolor landscape. It shows the view from the airport in Longyearbyen.
While removing the masking tape, part of the painting went with the tape -.- I still haven't found the perfect tape for painting, any suggestions?

TBT Late Afternoon Diablo Canyon Oil on Canvas 48" x 72"
This was a commission, and my first oil painting, from a photograph I took at Diablo Canyon 8 years ago today. I had been working almost exclusively in watercolor and some acrylic before this, but the collector wanted a 4' x 6' painting, and my friend the excellent painter Madison Cawein suggested I try oils.
