I am SO tired.
Ok so, having a @protonprivacy plan running until April 2027 gives me the time to test and evaluate other options.
I'm giving @thunderbird desktop app a go, and I've seen they have an iOS app in the making (by the end of the year).
I actually secretly hope that, by then, I'll have freed myself from Apple services, but who knows. I'm not a fan of Google–Android tbh. Alternatives?
Sometimes I think I'd rather live in a cave.
Mario Restuccia@simona so far I've been using mailbox.org and it's going great. Thunderbird on desktop and mobile, not perfect but the best available IMO.
@mario thanks for sharing this. I'm actually thinking to stop relying on external domains and fully go with proprietary ones. So no need of @gmail @protonmail or @anythingelse anymore – I'd just stick with @simona. This way, I will only need an email client – and @thunderbird might be the one.
But then, calendar, address book, drive, VPN, password manager, etc. Lesson learned: I won't put all eggs in one basket, not anymore.
