I've been a long time subscriber to #ProtonMail, long enough that it would be a big enough hassle to change email providers that I decided to contact their media address to ask them directly to explain themselves. I made it clear that I would take my business elsewhere if it wasn't suitably convincing. I'm not optimistic though. I know of #Tuta, what other #email providers are out there?

Not sure if this belongs here or in self-hosting. I spent half the morning looking into alternative e-mail providers, after spotting this infographic on Mastodon.
