The consequences of the terrorist attack on the #Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station
▪️As a result of the flood, 80 populated areas were affected, 5 were completely flooded.
▪️According to the UN, 33 people were killed in the territories controlled by #Ukraine, 28 were injured, and more than 40 people went missing.
▪️ #Ukraine suffered damage of $14 billion.
▪️The sabotage of the dam triggered an ecocide, which resulted in the destruction of flora and fauna.
When #Russians claim that thanks to them, factories, plants, and roads appeared in #Ukraine, as if #Ukrainians would have been living in primitive conditions without them,
it's worth remembering what they actually brought to our land: the disaster at the #Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station in 1986 and the destruction of the #Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station in 2023 – two of the largest man-made disasters in Europe.
