Edinburgh friends, I'm thinking of buying a bike for the first time in quite a few years (early 50s guy here!). I'm probably looking for a hybrid for city and non-MTB use.

My question is: what friendly bike shops in the city would you recommend? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on a new bike, but have no recent experience in any of this!

Thanks. I don’t think I’m looking to spend more than about £700-800 or so, which probably limits my “new” options. I hadn’t thought of Bike Station although I was aware of what they do.
