That is unless someone local (#naarm) has a junk aluminium frame with a 30.9mm seat tube that I can acquire for an appropriate price (it's junk right, $20 is good?)
I need a junk aluminium frame to harvest a tube from to repair my bike. I dropped into a community org that recycles bikes, & chatted about getting one that was going to the metal recycler. They asked me to email details to them. I did so.
2 weeks later I sent a follow up email to confirm it was on their mind.
A week later I sent an email from proton instead of my self hosted email just in case it is an email delivery issue.
No replies to any.
I guess I need to visit again.
Flexi-posts and bike lanes - the Saint-Patrick edition
Flexi-posts are meant to be driven over without damaging vehicles. They also allow vehicles to stop/park in bike lanes with impunity. Added bonus: blocking sidewalks.
I was 3 minutes late to the bank and the boulangerie lacked anything circular but I picked up poultry for future meals, Mystery Tomato (also for future meals), and 10 library books, so I think I am improving at chaining errands.
Also: thanks to the driver who let me go through the intersection first when we arrived simultaneously and said "you're welcome" when I thanked them.
