Contemporary politics — nationally and internationally — is dominated by wealth, power, and influence. Corporations, billionaires, and equity-hoarding elites fund the think tanks, nonprofits, and lobbyists that author far-right libertarian policy.
Elected governments are the front-facing funhouse: smoke, mirrors, and managed deception. Social media movements are the noise — distraction while the strings are pulled from above.

... Wealth ↔ protects ↔ power. Always has.
The military-industrial complex, the prison-industrial complex, the poverty industry, ... — all profit centres, not failures of the system. They are the system.
The opposition parties' silence on Trump/GOP/MAGA tyranny (U.S. exemplar; Canada; U.K.) — against queer and trans lives, against the planet, against workers — isn't strategic caution.

... It's why the economist / banker / ex-Goldman Sachs operative Mark Carney ( #SamSlick ) justifies Trump / Israeli aggression, creates a "sovereign fund" (privatization mechanism), and promotes fossil fuels. The rich get richer.
