But that second paragraph... ๐Ÿคฌ

@IsabelB
Right? They were just happy, normal, tax-paying, minding-their-own-business people,... and that pisses off resentful and miserable people so much.

What an adorable couple. Love always wins in the end.

@Natasha_Jay WTF caused him to be transparent to the camera in their wedding photo? It looks like a greenscreen messup but it can't be.

edit: it's not the room they are in but the room the photo is in reflected off the glass. Whatever room they are in is too dark to see. That is soo fucking weird!!

They're in a museum full of photos. Those are not family photos behind them or whatever.

Very cute couple.

@Natasha_Jay
oh bless them, they look so happy ๐Ÿฅน

but the way they were treated

@Natasha_Jay "Of course, being 'Trans' is a really new thing - never used to happen in the 'old days'..."

Trans people have always existed, and always will.

@cybervegan
Generally just wanting to be left alone, which seems impossible for bigots...
@Natasha_Jay I love the pic where vic is smiling goofily. He seemed to be a cute happy guy haha
@alien
Yeah me too! No fucks given, big grin ๐Ÿ˜
@Natasha_Jay
I'm so glad they got through that hatefulness and were obviously happy together
@Natasha_Jay Moving in Hastings, is laissez-faire.

Not quite the same, but a senior Army doctor, who rose to the rank of Inspector General, the second highest medical rank in the Army.
He improved conditions not just for the soldiers, but also for the local population wherever he was posted.
He was discovered, on his death in 1865, to have actually been female. No-one throughout his career suspected, although the University Senate tried to prevent him taking his medical school finals, suspecting him of lying about his age, thinking he was actually a prepubescent boy.
