@Natasha_Jay WTF caused him to be transparent to the camera in their wedding photo? It looks like a greenscreen messup but it can't be.
edit: it's not the room they are in but the room the photo is in reflected off the glass. Whatever room they are in is too dark to see. That is soo fucking weird!!
They're in a museum full of photos. Those are not family photos behind them or whatever.

Not quite the same, but a senior Army doctor, who rose to the rank of Inspector General, the second highest medical rank in the Army.
He improved conditions not just for the soldiers, but also for the local population wherever he was posted.
He was discovered, on his death in 1865, to have actually been female. No-one throughout his career suspected, although the University Senate tried to prevent him taking his medical school finals, suspecting him of lying about his age, thinking he was actually a prepubescent boy.
