Weatherfax over HF radio is still very much a thing. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll hook up a laptop to a shortwave radio and pull down the NWS iceberg report just to feel something.

Since the AT command set is still alive and well, I like to imagine the acoustically coupled connection is still there, they just don't pipe it through the speaker any more... 🤪

Hmm... Now I wonder, what would 10G ethernet traffic sound like if you sent it to an amplifier... 🤔
