Finished Perfect Crown #kDrama. It's my first full Kdrama and I loved it.
Critics felt leads didn't have chemistry - to which I say WTF? Oceans of chemistry there! Critics also apparently didn't like 'that the drama leaned too heavily on established tropes ' - which it may have done - but those Tropes in this Medium were new to ME and Boyf and we enjoyed it immensely.
Finally some critics didn't like how to Royal story was handled in regards to historical aspects. I can't speak on that.

@Faintdreams The 'historical' criticism was actually largely an orchestrated and politically-motivated hate campaign aimed at IU because of her active support of those who opposed the now-impeached former president.
As for IU and chemistry, do try #kDrama #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines

I can't keep too many dramas in my head all at once !

Don't shoot me but although I enjoyed the drama, I couldn't watch without thinking that there was a limited chemistry. For me, it had more to do with a standard drama trope storyline and quite a few plot holes etc... Still for a first drama, you made a nice choice.
For me, one of IU's best dramas and partner chemistry was in 2016s Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Panned by critics but was really popular in a lot of countries.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart has been recommended to me a few times. But.. I am in the UK and am unsure how to legitimately watch it :(
Where to watch legitimately or even for free is always an issue. So many options for paid streaming nowadays: NFx, PRIME, VIKI, Disney+. I do know that VIKI does offer some older dramas for free.
