We've been knee deep in AI for a long time.
If one was anti artificial intelligence then surely they would be avoiding the tech that leverages it.
If you are taking AI derived vaccines, using international banking systems, playing computer games, using chess apps and real time maps you are not anti-AI at all, you are the product of AI.

If you are using chess apps, search engines, vaccines, mobile phones, maps, algorithms etc you are the problem.
The peeps upset about a novel clippy instead of Google search are fucked, the people that don't know Google search has changed as they have never used it will be fine.
@jamoquanty @markhurst Nah, the LLM business has some limited use cases in niche areas (mostly around code generation and analysis, interestingly enough).
Outside that, most sectors of the economy and society generally will be far better off once the bubble bursts (and, hopefully, takes a few would-be oligarchs with it).
