A large red sandstone Edwardian commercial building on the corner of Trongate and Albion Street in central Glasgow. Designed by Thomson and Sandilands, it was constructed for City Improvement Trust to house shops on the ground floor with space for offices above. It's built on the site where James Watt had a workshop in 1763.

It was around this time that Watt had his idea to greatly improve the efficiency of steam engines by adding a separate condenser, so helping to kick start the industrial revolution. The location of this workshop is marked by a plaque on the side of the current building.
