A more ethical Framework competitor?

Framework recently sponsored and advertised Hyprland and Omarchy, two fairly unremarkable projects unrelated except for the fact that they are led by hateful and (at least in Omarchy’s case) fascist tech bros. See also this thread for everyone voicing their disappointment. I am still hopeful that the company will change course on this, but Nirav’s recent tweet suggests he doesn’t really care. That’s unacceptable to me, so I’m probably going to have to return my new Framework 16 in the next week...

Framework Community
@swirly Let's say you're right. And how exactly it makes Hyprland and Omarchy worse? Why can't one understand that the code written by not-so-good people could still be good and useful?

@alexanderniki

who said the code was bad? i’ve just stated a fact and linked a source. interpretation is up to you.

@swirly If the code is not bad, than why stop sponsoring those project? What is so unethical Framework company does? They don't sponsor bad people doing bad things. They sponsor people you personally don't like doing good things.
@swirly And one more thing.
Fascism is something really really really bad, something like, you know, pure evil.
So, grab a dictionary already and learn the difference between sarcastic and/or toxic behaviour and fascism, nazism or racism.
And for the duck's sake, stop calling everyone you don't like a fascist. They still might be a bunch of miserable bastartds :) But they definitely not fascists.
