@0xabad1dea I once attended a mensa meeting, where one of the other attendees was so glad to see another man turn up because now it would be possible to talk about serious topics, instead of girly things like soap operas and and "flowery topics" (never did get a meaningful definition of "flowery topics"). I don't particularly like soap operas, but my goodness did I spend the entire time there talking about them like I was a massive fan. I don't think he liked me after that.
