@magenta
1. Where in Philly are you?
2. Do you know if these can be fixed to the wall, for childproofing purposes?
3. How deep are they?
4. Would you be ok with us only taking one of them, or do you prefer to keep them together?

@skyfaller

1. We are in Center City.
2. In the 1940's, fixing furniture to the wall was not in the design. Don't know if it could be modified for that.
3. About 16 inches deep at widest point counting the trim.
4. Prefer to keep them together.

@magenta I don't think we can fit both in our little rowhome, but we'll play around with the measurements and let you know if we come up with something

@skyfaller

Tomorrow morning a person will be picking them up to try to sell at auction.
I prefer that they go to you if you really want them (and can find the space).

If you really do want them, you could pay him as the mover, to deliver them to you.
I would take nothing. It would be helpful to me to be paid something, but at this point, I want my grandparents' things to be somewhere they will be appreciated.

Sorry about the rush, but I am out of time.
