I just recently restored a Stanley #4 smoothing plane. I had a lot of fun doing that. works like a charm now.

@PalmAndNeedle You can use it in places where you’d use a block plane, like in chamfering for example or do end grain work, especially if you narrow the mouth.a bit. Are you building a boat or parts for a boat?
