In reality, #Russia is waging war specifically against the civilian population of #Ukraine - by shelling peaceful cities, destroying critical infrastructure, and trying to make #Ukrainian cities uninhabitable.
Many towns and cities have simply ceased to exist. #Bakhmut, #Marinka, #Avdiivka, #Volnovakha, #Soledar, #Vuhledar, #Chasiv_Yar, #Toretsk and many others that #Russia is destroying right now.
This is genocide of the #Ukrainian people.
