@gedeonm Parts of the TV series Bates Motel was shot here in Vancouver, including exterior shots of the motel and house above.

Can you imagine aimlessly riding your motorcycle around and suddenly coming across THAT HOUSE!? Freaked me the hell out!

@KingShawn @gedeonm Even the picture freaks me out!

@treleanor @gedeonm Oh hell yes! But one of my best childhood memories was my mom waking me up at 11pm on a Friday night and making me sit with her, eating Chinese food she had ordered after coming home from bingo and watching that movie with her because she was too scared to watch it alone. 🤣❤️

Of course, I was only ten years old so it scarred me for life but that's a small price to pay for mother/son bonding. :)

@KingShawn @gedeonm that’s nice :) I was about 16 and had won a swimming race at the school carnival. My mother took me to the movies as a treat, we didn’t know what would be on. Wouldn’t take a shower for years. Scarred for life!
@treleanor @gedeonm LOL SAME! I wouldn't shower with the shower curtain closed for MONTHS! Pissed my mother off that the bathroom was covered in water but I always said to her, “This is YOUR FAULT!” :)
@KingShawn @gedeonm Definitely her fault!

@treleanor @gedeonm LOL Absolutely! But it became a wonderful tradition - she'd come home from bingo with Chinese food, wake me up, and we'd watch old, classic scary movies together, just me and her. ❤️

What I wouldn't give to do it just one more time with her. 😢
