@georgetakei Whatever these republicans did that the convict has the kompromat for, it must be really, really bad. They all fell in line behind a convict with ties to Russia who literally sent people to attack them. They have the power to end his reign of terror, but they do nothing. What do they fear that is worth selling their souls for?

@georgetakei He has forgotten how these negotiations work? Trump is too busy tweeting to be negotiating anything. Trump isn't involved in the negotiations at all, I'm sure, except for blowing them up regularly. And lying, as usual.

@georgetakei So I had this troubling thought 🤔 Given the apparent lack of interest in details of Trump and his cabinet, and the complexity of these negotiations (nuclear/Hormuz/proxies/Lebanon etc) I can't see how Trump could even understand what he's agreed to, let alone stick to the terms of any deal. So I can't really see how any peace deal can be reached? Hence the doom loop state of these negotiations.
