Jolla Phone update - The Other Half spec

@TimothyRoes I’m most interested in an inductive charging solution, because all my Sony smartphones have had to have their USB ports replaced due to wear and tear at some point during their lifespan. However, I’m also keen on an interface for writing to RFID media to make the phone compatible with commercial applications. But i'm sure there will be a lot more exited stuff from the community by time.
@Cykelsok yes but you would have to find a real niche application for companies to buy their workers a #jollaphone I guess. I could imagine it taking off for secure communication in institutions or governments but they don’t need TOH
@TimothyRoes I don’t think it would be a mass-market product either. But developers working for small businesses might really appreciate the fact that they can access all Linux libraries and don’t have to submit apps to Apple or Google. Total independence. Remote access via SSH. I think that’s actually quite appealing.
@Cykelsok hadnt thought about that aspect of it. That is indeed quite attractive!
