@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon 20m illegals had devastating effects on poor american families but rich people got dirt cheap drywall, roofs, and landscaping - my take #disproportionate

@gary_alderson @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon
It was never immigration that was the problem

It is always the illegal skirting of labour laws by employers

So yes, if the working class had far stronger protections for all, including immigrants, wages would go up across the board

Farm and domestic workers being excluded from Labor Protections and the right to unionize was just one major step that led us here

Employers somehow never faced mass punishment, internment, torture, disappearances, or murder

@AccordionBruce @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon both parties ignored the law (for decades) - there was complicity, i say liberalize immigration laws but at the same time uphold the law and actually enforce it - that is reasonable - the harms are beyond question, there is no accountability as well #fucked over

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon

Boosting as it is just as much an issue in the UK with the support right wing parties are getting at the moment.
