Ragashingo

Things have been going well between traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence and minor harvest god Holo the Wise Wolf. They'd overcome trading houses and smugglers and were now rather lovey-dovey... until another merchant and a shocking truth came between them.

Lawrence finds himself in a crowd trying to make a desperate play to crash a short sold decorative pyrite market in order to stop the fellow merchant from having the funds to purchase Holo from him!

@BongoMcnulty I've been pondering that all morning! :p

The original had more people, but I don't think the city art was as pleasing. Keeping it more actual market stalls looks really nice.

I think maybe I like the slightly slimmer character shapes in the original and perhaps the remake's characters look a little more CGI-model-y. But the remake's variation is still good and npc character art is still more than acceptable.

I thought about mixing shows to see if anyone would notice. :p

@Ragashingo agreed that the newer art looks a bit too cgi, but I also think that the original adaptation went a little mushy with some of the background and long shot character art (understandable considering time and budget constraints).
It's strange, because as the new show was airing I was convinced I liked the older art style better, but after revisiting it briefly, the newer one feels more consistent overall ;)
