Platner responds to Bezos’s claim that doubling his taxes isn't going to make a difference to a teacher earning a low salary.
@georgetakei So, if doubling doesn't then maybe tripling does.
@georgetakei oh honey, we won’t double it, we will take 85% above a billion
@DavidNielsen @georgetakei
Pfft. 100% over $10 million and he can be thankful we don't take it all and put his fucking head on a pike.

@DavidNielsen @georgetakei I propose 100% above double digit million. Including stocks, loans on stocks or any other loophole they might use. Basically anything that has buying/influencing power counts.

Anyone being taxed at 100% gets a reward in form of a trophy stating "Congratulations: you have won capitalism!"

@georgetakei That's why I never take a Billionaire's word. They serve only themselves & are very underdeveloped humans. They don't know or understand the value of a dollar, let alone their own assets.

@georgetakei

Tax the fuck out of the broligarchs.

@georgetakei
If we raised their taxes and didn’t tell them they woven notice

So let’s do it and test his theory

@georgetakei what a bad argument from bezos... every extra dollar from him is good for EVERYONE

@georgetakei

Unfortunately, in the current regime, Bezos is correct. Any new tax money will be funneled to pet Trump projects, like losing wars and ballrooms.
