Ended a #DND campaign Sunday. I was the DM. I didn't want to play anymore. I find I am becoming to intrangient or finicky to deal with most people's foibles at the gaming table. With those I would like to play with I find that time, location, and availability make it near impossible in the adult world. I can play solo CRPG//ARPG games on my battlestation and story and adventure, and some let me play with friends whenever we have time.

But no MMOs. They violate my rule about gaming with people.

Never lay a game with someone who you can not then punch in the face.

Makes things more civil.

@infoseclogger Preach. Most D&D games end because of either the big bad....scheduling or the players.

Glad you are getting some peace and hope you find a new way to find time to RPG with friends.

I still have one other game going that's every other weekend with four very chill players. 5E. That is more of a social battery rejuvenator as we all get along and it's more about shared time than the game.

Nothing lasts forever. Except corporate technical debt.

I am lucky I found a ChampionsRPG/HeroSystem game with awesome players :-) and its text based so there is another filter between me and the players :-)

Its a Super hero game so the whole dynamic at the table is much more positive as killing is off the table. Its very different to the dnd and Traveller games I have played.
