@srgower I was in a similar situation, and getting an e-bike was wonderful for me. It strikes just the right balance of letting me move my body without getting too sweaty.

@alex I'd love an ebike, and my wife wants one as well. They're just expensive haha. I also wouldn't know where to start to buy one.

@srgower Yeah very true. Electric-assisted bikes are super common here in Japan, it seems like half the bikes in any local bike shop are ebikes. I picked up a reasonable one by Panasonic, but I suppose that’s not the case everywhere!
