In the thread I quoted, several users posted URLs concerning the privacy concerns both with their web browser, and search engine.

You'd be better trusting an evil corporation like Google or Bing, than you would be Brave Search which is worse.

@NetscapeNavigator ah yes I've read the article now. Honestly, most of it is just a business trying to make some money off of mostly free services, and the right wing stuff seems harmless. Though i do fully understand that it doesn't feel good to use software and services that don't fully align with your moral compass. I'm a degoogler myself

Yeah, I’ve heard all I need to hear from you. You’re one of those people who will argue that Brave Browser and the beliefs of the people behind the company are separate things — the so-called “that’s different” argument. It’s not different, because those are the people you’re empowering — Nazis and the like.
