YouTube är rimligt besvärliga att ha att göra med, så när Brave arbetar runt det, är min sympati för deras situation begränsad.
Förutom att man kan köra background playback, blockerar Brave också all deras reklam. Och man slipper cookie-varningar, popup-fönster och sådant krafs.
Måste säga att bytet från Chrome till Brave är ett av de bästa beslut jag fattat. Internet är nästan uthärdligt igen. Nästan.
(Lite roligt också att PC för Alla skriver i en recension att en av nackdelarna med Brave är att det finns "onödiga kryptofunktioner", trots att "nödvändigheten" naturligtvis beror helt på om man använder krypto eller inte. Någon borde berätta för dem att vanliga människor gör det ibland.)

AtomicAllianceSo langsam habe ich mich mit dem #Vivaldi Webbrowser arrangiert. Dieser läuft nun auf all meinen Geräten. MacOS, Linux, IOS und auch noch auf Windows. Ein Game-Changer ist er noch nicht, macht aber vieles besser oder gibt mir zu mindest das Gefühl es besser zu machen, als #Brave oder die Proprietären Webbrowser der einzelnen Betriebssysteme.

In #Firefox it freezes and drop frames.
In #Brave and #Safari it works smoothly.
P.S.: and of course, a lack of the feature to install a site as PWA is a big deal for me (both desktop and mobile) 😥

IkeI had to force shut off my linux fedora laptop when the display got confused with my external monitor (this is a not uncommon issue unfortunately). I run KDE Plasma.
When I rebooted, my browser appeared to have auto updated and for some reason I have to sign in to all my websites again. I noticed my phone's browser was also aggressively pushing me to the app store to update.
For some reason this makes me suspicious.
Has anyone else noticed this browser behavior?
