Foetid Bloat Drone, tripod conversion.

I wanted to create a unique version of the drone model.
As Nurgle is all about 3's and I really like tripods, it was a natural thing to do.

I wasn't happy with the photos I originally took, so have just taken all new photos to see if there is an improvement.

More of the Foetid Bloat Drone tripod.

Here it is with the Heavy blight launcher.

This was made in 2 parts; the ammo' tank and the launcher itself.
These attach to the tripod with magnets, and the hose that connects them is split in 2 and joins with a magnet.

Here's the Foetid Bloat Drone tripod conversion with the Flesh-mower attachment.

Made from scraps, plasticard, plastic-rods, removed kit parts, and epoxy putty.

And is the reason the rest of the model and it's base has so much blood splatter.

A closer look at 2 of the legs of the Foetid bloat drone tripod.

The legs starts at the hip, joined to the body where the main fans would normally be.
The leg continues upward to the first knee, where I used the spiked piece from the kit.
Down and forward to the 2nd knee protected with part of the original fan.
Back from there to the raised heel, and then down to the toe/foot.

Hoses and cables run the length to all the pistons that would move the joints.

@DrH this thing is uncanny

@erikcats Well it had to be creepy and disgusting to properly honour grandfather Nurgle.

I wanted the legs to give the same feeling as some people get with things that have "too many" / "too long" / "wrong-looking" legs.

I just imagine the sight of this thing walking to send shivers up and down your spine.

Thanks.
