Plague marine #2

Changed the position of the sword arm, rotating it outward to be more agressive.

And I added a mass of tentacles under the left arm.

Been painting the minis from #shadowsofbrimstone Swamps game over the last two days. Got the heroes done. 6 tentacles almost complete.

Great game. Think Warhammer Quest + Cthulhu + Wild West.

Started the HUGE Demon tonight. Oh boy. Nice model. Going to think about those rotten leathery wings for a while. Settled on Necrotic Flesh for the body, and Blood Red horns, on the basecoating.

May try bone and very light beige colouring. Will be checking out some other painters’ treatment of undead/demonic wings for ideas. Someone else’s paint job below.

The other Cankerborn from Warhammer Quest: Darkwater.

If you haven't played this game I recommend it. The rules are simple, but enjoyable. With the enemies being controlled by predetermined actions, it plays like an interesting puzzle as you try and solve how to win each mission. The campaign elements are fun, and as each mission is short you can play several missions in a session. It's a bit like a D&D "light", basic role-play, but with a good story behind it and solid mechanics.
