Four years ago I spent a week trying to develop the single C++ EasyGoPiGo3 drive_cm() method AND FAILED.

Last week I spent a single evening with Claude. After a week reviewing and testing the result, I now have 38 EasyGoPiGo3 C++ API methods fully tested and documented.

It is not without embarrassment that I admit this SUCCESS.

@cyclical_obsessive KI for Coding is great for private purposes because now you can do stuff you couldn't do before because you wouldn't pay someone for this goofing around. But in professional context there should be a real coder who knows what he does. I guess if we would accept that on both sides it would be way better.
I don't want to pay for apps/sides that was developed by KI but I want to create stuff for myself I couldn't do without KI (or only with a lot of time spending in learning)

> "real coder"

After 50 years writing software from assembler to high level languages to rule-based to mission critical code on land, sea, air, and space, "real coders" that know it all are impossible, and resource optimization forces the "expert coder/designer" to be short timers on projects.

When I was part of a team of adaptable engineers, we slew dragons with quality and efficiency.

They split us up - quality and commitment suffered.

AI is a tool for "real coders".
