I saw these in #Aldi the other day.

They're nice, like PomBear a bit. It's labelled #vegetarian, but not #vegan, but I can't see any animal based ingredients in there?

@SilverArrows it's often the aroma. Aroma is not always from spices so if one ingredient is Aroma and it's not labeled vegan they pretty sure used animal exploitation to create this taste

@Seitansbraten aroma as an ingredient is not anything I've seen in the UK. I only have this blurry photo right now, but nothing in there is animal derived afaik.

Aldi is weird like that sometimes. They have plain burger buns labelled vegan, but the same buns with sesame seeds aren't even labelled vegetarian. The other ingredients were exactly the same iirc. But I only buy the plain just in case.
