For the first time, the Viminale (Italian Ministry of the Interior) used the term femicide in a report.

The report on voluntary homicides committed in Italy during the first three months of the year is the first since the crime was introduced. Data from the Non Una di Meno Observatory allows us to understand the gap between femicides treated as such by the justice system and the definition that feminist movements give to the social phenomenon.
