I'm set to shoot #windShortFilm a #solarpunk comedy in June, so this last mile campaign is to cover basics like food, transport, etc. We made all costumes, props, and set constructions from scratch and it strained our budget since it is a futuristic story with no central governments, and no #capitalism Everyone participates in running the country. Help me make it!

Wind: A Solarpunk Short Film

I'll shoot this film first week of June. We had to create costumes, props, and construct sets from scratch, since it's set in the future and we can't use everyday items, and it punched a hole in the production budget, so I'm doing this last mile crowdfund to cover basics like food and transport. This is a little overwhelming, in a very pleasant way. About 20% raised within the first eight hours of this stretch goal to make a #solarpunk short film about a future without central governments, no politicians, and no #capitalism We start production in two weeks time and your support means a lot! Boost, or donate. :-))

This #solarpunksunday consider giving me a boost to make this comedy short film, themed on food production (there's a fight over chicken!) in a future without #capitalism or central governments, or politicians, or even military institutions and police. We start production in two weeks and I'm nearly at the half-way mark of this last mile stretch goal, thanks to your generosity!

Halfway there! I'm making a #solarpunk comedy film, about a fight over chicken. It's set in a future with no central governments, or military, and no capitalism. Rather, ordinary people run their own country and support each other to survive the climate crisis. We shoot in two weeks, and I'm on a last mile #crowdfund to cover basic overhead costs. Please donate or boost!

@dilmandila Is this the same timeline as The Blossoming of the Big Tree? (I'm almost done reading and enjoying it!)
@ljwrites Not exactly, but set in the same world and there is an invasion in both (though solutions to the war are different: this being a short film can bore viewers with a lot of info). Though, the novella started as an accompaniment to this film and then it took a life of its own. But yes, there will be overall similarities in the two stories, and hopefully people who get to experience both won't ask questions like "but why is it like this in the book and like that in the film?" 😁
@dilmandila It's not often that audiences get two timelines in the same setting, sounds like a treat! xD
