It rewards what people choose to reward.
How terrible, right?
@AlexanderKingsbury It rewards what people with wealth choose to reward
No, again, you fail to grasp reality.
J.K Rowling is not wealthy because the wealthy chose to buy her work.
She is wealthy because many millions of people chose to buy her work.
@AlexanderKingsbury J.K. Rowling is wealthy because she made various lucrative licensing and distribution deals with large companies managed by wealthy people. Without those deals she would have never had the reach to become wealthier than any other writer.
People with wealth rewarded her. You confirm rather than refute my remark.
No, you just refuse to accept that many millions of people chose to buy from her. No one was forced to. Your beliefs are laughable, not merely because they not are supported by any actual evidence, but because you refuse to consider any way in which they may be falsifiable. When presented with literally anything, you will warp it in any way necessary in order to turn it into "proof".
An unfalsifiable claim has no value.
@AlexanderKingsbury An example of a writer who's become fabulously wealthy with no deals with major publishers or distribution companies would handily refute my point.
You should chill down those exaggerations a bit and think about what you're saying.
Hardly exaggerations. You refuse to admit that millions of people voluntarily bought her products.
No, I don't; your claim is incredibly easily falsifiable, and indeed has already been falsified. I simply say that YOU would twist any proof against you around in any way necessary to turn it into proof for your claims. YOU refuse to admit your claims are falsifiable.
You've already seen it. You're just not honest enough to admit it.
@AlexanderKingsbury You gave a bad example, and then you accused me of “twisting” it because i refused to accept it without examination.
You've also falsely claimed that i «refuse to consider any way» in which my beliefs may be falsifiable, and failed to acknowledge that i explicitly gave one way in which my claim may be falsified. “Any way” is clearly a false accusation.
And now you accuse me of dishonesty over your own failure to substantiate your claims.
