#WritersCoffeeClub Day 14: For characters, plots, ideas, settings, &c: how much is too much?

I'm finding with my #SciFi #Fantasy series that when the MC's trauma-healing arc & relationships he's deepening with his team, directly impact the team's monster & crime boss containment work/genre plot; you can pack a lot in.

Chars tackling plot is also then developing relationships & exploring #autism & #ADHD. (#Aromantic & #asexual exploration isn't so plot relevant, but very trauma-healing arc.)

Of course, the final judge for my books will be Sythe Series readers, specifically of book 2; Countering the Hands of Crime. (Out May 31st!)

If however, you've got multiple povs in different locations tackling that much plot, themes etc, I think that would be too much.

Countering the Hands of crime only has two pov characters, living in the same city, studying mostly the same classes, and working on the same team. So both povs contribute to each other, not reader overload.
