You can only take from them what they deem most precious.

By voting them out of office you take away the power they covet and cling to even at the expense of destroying their own country. It’s that simple.

Or start a sustained general strike, when it becomes obvious that we will never be allowed to vote the oligarchs out.

Swapping around politicians doesn't mean shit if the people who own both parties and everything else get to keep their positions. Don't know why that would be hard to understand.

I'll put it even more simply:

You can't vote out billionaires. But you CAN overthrow them.
